The Main character in this movie Paul Atredees is teased as being this Christ-Like figure in both Dune 1 and Dune 2. However, in Dune 2 he starts to fulfill the prophecies foretold to the “Fremen” about a Messiah to come deliver them from the hand of their enemies. Obviously this movie has so many biblical references, I thought it was significant enough to do a biblical movie review on some of the relevant biblical prophecies. For Example, Paul Atredees comes out of the sky to descend on the planet Arrakis and Jesus our Christ will also come out of the sky: “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn.
