The phrase “one another” appears 100 times in the New Testament of the Bible. In 59 of those instances, instructions are given to followers of Jesus. “One another-ing” is a hallmark of what it means to follow Jesus. Not only that—it’s how the world will know we are Christians. In John 13 Jesus says: 34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
