The OODA loop was a tool developed by military strategist John Boyd. Boyd was a US Air Force fighter pilot and Pentagon consultant whose theories have been highly influential in not just the military, but in sports, business and litigation. The OODA loop explains how individuals and organizations can win in uncertain and chaotic environments. It is an Acronym that explains the four steps of decisions making: Observe, Orient, Decide Act.
