Today is World Refugee Day. Each year on the 20th of June, the world celebrates the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution. Given the war in Ukraine and global geopolitics more generally, it is a pertinent time to be discussing the topic of refugees.
