It’s easy for us to have many different identities that coincide or contradict what we say our beliefs are. For example, we could say that we believe we are created in the image of God, yet we don’t respect ourselves to even set up boundaries to not allow others to walk over us. On so many levels were we taught that we are made as Kingdom Citizens and that we are a reflection of God, so when we are taught to look at ourselves a certain type of way, what does that mean for the image? If we say we are reflections of God, and we don’t show the mannerisms of respect towards the Kingdom of Heaven, how can we say that we respect ourselves?
