The Philadelphia Eagles were unable to stay perfect in the preseason, falling to the Vikings, 26-3 Saturday afternoon at the Linc. Neither Kenny Pickett's or Tanner McKee's offensive units were able to find the endzone as they were plagued with drops and turnovers. The Eagles gave the ball away 3 times in the game: Running back Tyrion Davis-Price was stripped in the Eagles’ first possession on his 6th run of the drive. Then Tanner McKee was charged with two turnovers; one came on a sack/fumble during the Eagles’ first play of the 2nd Half and the other came in the red zone with the Eagles going for it on 4th-&-4 from the 14. McKee dropped back and hit Joseph Ngata in stride, but Ngata tipped the ball into the air where it was later grabbed by Vikings Safety Jay Ward. Eagles rookie 2nd Round pick Cooper DeJean made his professional debut, playing in his first game since November 11th at Iowa.
