In the preparedness and armed readiness communities, we have seen widespread focus surrounding infantry tactics and conventional fighting doctrines. This has led to the many community leaders making reading and resource recomendations. US Army books and field manuals like the Ranger Handbook and FM 7-8 have become popular and are often among reading lists and recomendations for research and reference.
