Say HiWhen God calls to give us a task for the ministry, many, if not all, of us feel like running because we feel inadequate, unworthy and all together unqualified for the task. We are not alone. Even the Old Testament prophets felt so inadequate too. Each of us has good reason to feel unqualified because we all have our mistakes. However, our inadequacy is more than compensated by His adequacy.See Moses, when God called him from the fiery bush, Moses was eighty years old yet he felt very unqualified and inadequate. Moses gave so many excuses. In Exodus 3:11, Moses said “Who am I that I should go?” In Exodus 4:1 Moses said “But they won’t listen to me and they won’t believe me.” In Exodus 4:10, he said again “But I don’t speak good.”Despite the feeling of inadequacy that Moses felt, in the end God used Moses mightily.
