This is Derek Miller, Speaking on Business. Since 2008, Sheer Ambrosia Bakery has blended sweet southern flavors with traditional Greek baking techniques. Founder and CEO Rita Magalde is here to tell us more about her journey and delicious creations. Rita Magalde: My passion for baklava began at the age of 16 when I worked for a Greek family and fell in love with the cuisine. By blending their Greek baking techniques with my southern roots, Sheer Ambrosia’s unique southern-style baklava was born, quickly becoming a favorite nationwide. What began in my home kitchen has grown into a full-scale commercial bakery with 14 distinct flavors.
