Marissa Gray: At Big-D Construction, we recognize that the construction industry has one of the highest suicide rates among all workforces. That’s why we prioritize the mental well-being of our employees alongside physical safety. We accomplish this through the promotion and education of our Employee Assistance Program, coaching, virtual therapy services, positive messaging from company leadership, policies that promote mental well-being, and suicide prevention training for leaders, supervisors and managers. Big-D also works in partnership with the Utah Suicide Prevention Committee and Coalition through their workplace workgroup.
