Unforgiveness imprisons us in a world outside of Gods compassion and mercy not because he is not giving it to us, but because we do not see it. Only the spiritual mind sees this mercy and forgiveness – our natural mind is blinded to it, because unforgiveness is a world of darkness. It is the greatest enemy to sharing life with God. Unforgiveness and the guilt that comes with it is the underpinning fabric of the veil of separation between us and God and one another. That veil over Adam’s mind and heart, that was Adam’s guilt and shame, separating him from God (and from Eve when he blamed her), was undone by Jesus on the cross. Jesus’ body was torn when he gave up his life for us on the cross. At that same moment the veil of the temple was torn from top to bottom. The veil is our inheritance from Adam. The torn veil is our inheritance from Christ. Hebrews 10:19 And so, dear brothers, now we may walk right into the very Holy place, where God is, because of the blood of Jesus.
