This episode will feature Howard R. Jean, Director of the Call Me MISTER Program. We will discuss the importance of mentorship personally and professionally. We will also discuss creativity in the classroom and what educators can do to bring their classrooms up to TODAY! The mission of the Call Me MISTER (acronym for Mentors Instructing Students Toward Effective Role Models) Initiative is to increase the pool of available teachers from a broader more diverse background particularly among the State's lowest performing elementary schools.
