Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 42 The Grief of Siffeen Abdullah (ra) remained remorseful for his participation in the Battle of Siffeen for the rest of his life. He (ra) would thus often be heard saying in grief, "What did I have to do with Siffeen? What did I have to do with fighting the Muslims? Oh how I wish I had passed away 20 vears earlier (ie during the Glorious Caliphate of Hadrat Umar [ra]), however, neither did I strike with a sword nor did I shoot an arrow (Siyar).
