Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 41 "Each of the differing groups agree on and acknowledge the fact that Hadrat Mu'aawiyah (ra) was not equally entitled to the position of Caliph as Hadrat Alee (ra) was and that he could not possibly be the Caliph as Long as it was possible for Hadrat Alee (ra) to take this position. This is because Hadrat Alee's (ra) merit, knowledge, piety, courage and other virtues were apparent and well-known amongst them, just as the case with his brothers, Hadrat Aboo Bakr (ra), Hadrat Umar (ra) and Hadrat Uthmaan (ra)."
