In honour of the Feast of the Annunciation (March 25), listen to the Sisters of St Paul de Chartres Australia beautifully sing the Magnificat in Latin, a hymn of praise and joy taken from Luke’s Gospel (1:46-55). The word Magnificat means “it magnifies,” as Mary proclaims, “My soul magnifies the Lord.” This ancient hymn reflects Mary’s humility and gratitude for God’s blessings, inspiring us to magnify His greatness in our own lives.
