In the video, I draw powerful parallels between the ancient Israelites and the struggles of today's Black Americans. Just as the Israelites faced 400 years of oppression and slavery in Egypt, many Black Americans have endured generations of systemic injustice, poverty, and violence. I emphasize that during the time of the Exodus, many descendants of slaves had forgotten the God of their ancestors, which parallels the feelings of disconnection and doubt that has risen in our community today. Many of our people today question God's presence and favor, particularly when observing the disparities between our own lives and let's just say "other" Americans.I highlight that despite the Israelites' doubt and unbelief, God still saved them, reminding us of Romans 5:8, where it says that God loves us even while we are still sinners. This reinforces the idea that no matter the rising unbelief in our community, that God is going to save us as a people no matter what.Furthermore, I reference Reve
