Natalie speaks with Jason Lipstein, Oleh from Montreal to Haifa, about Aliyah. Jason recently submitted a strong article to the Times of Israel blog where he compared the rituals of the Holy Temple vs. the sick rituals of the Holocaust, as well as the atmosphere for the comfortable Jew in 1930s Germany with the comfortable Jew in the diaspora today. Jason points out that in a hurricane, the safest place to be is in the "eye of the storm" and compares Israel to that eye. Meaning....the world around us is getting harder for Jews.
