Sadaqa - charity protects your children! Indeed, Allah (SWT) tends to a single date or morsel from you until it grows, just as you tend to your foal or young camel until it grows. (Ahmad, Musnad). Verily, if Allah (SWT) Honoured and Glorified be He, wants to turn something small into something great, He (SWT) can do so. And if He (SWT), wants to turn something great into something small, He (SWT) can do so, (Imam Suyootee [rah] in his Ad Durr Al-Manthoor). A servant does not give a good charity except that Allah (SWT) leaves a good successor for his legacy. (Haafiz Husayn ibn Harb as-Sulamee, Birr). Similarly, The Messenger ﷺ had said, A servant does not excel in charity but that Allah (SWT) then bestows Blessings upon his progeny. (Musnad).
