Masayesva relates the story of how the Hopi came long ago to Black Mesa, Arizona escaping an oppressive regime near the Teotihuacan (near Mexico City) area of Mexico. In what is now Arizona at Black Mesa they met, Masa --the Hopi equivalent to Jesus or Buddha-- who taught them how to live in a sustainable, peaceful way in harmony with the earth.
