Michael Abelman is a farmer, educator, founder and the executive director of the Center for Urban Agriculture at Fairview Gardens, Ca.. Abelman is also author/photographer of From the Good Earth, On Good Land and Fields of Plenty: A Farmer's Journey in Search of Real Food and the People Who Grow It. He is also the subject of the award-winning PBS national broadcast Beyond Organic.Abelman talks about the huge affect that the industrial age has had on the earth.
