Mrs. Jeanette C. McAllister went into the Lord's presence early Monday morning, April 21, 2025. Born on September 30, 1932, Jeanette was a daughter of the late Leonard and Carrie Cheshire of Gainesville, Florida. Mac and Jeanette were married on February 14, 1953. And together they raised two sons. They began their marriage working in Savannah, Georgia, and then a few years later moved to north Alabama where they resided for over 50 years. They lived in Decatur, Huntsville, and Hartselle. Jeanette worked for Sears for many years while Mac worked for the Goodyear Service Stores. They first met in Gainesville, Florida, while working together at Goodyear. They served as faithful members of several independent Baptist churches in north Alabama. They were members of Bethel Baptist Church in Hartselle, Alabama for many years. Jeanette loved showing hospitality in the home and working outside in her yard, at the church, or Baptist World Missions. She was a great cook and homemaker but in her mature years, would rath
