Al-Mugheera Ibn Shu’ba رضي الله عنه Session 43 The Siege of Nihaawand 21 AH The Battle of Nihaawand, fought over a period of 2 weeks. Amr ibn MA'A'Dikarib (rah) is maryted at Nihaawand. Hadrat Maalik ibn Abdullah Khath'ami had related re Amr (raa)... I have not seen anyone step forward (ie to challenge an opponent) in The Battle of Yarmook who was better than a certain Muslim. When a powerfully built unbeliever came to meet his challenge, he effectively killed him (in no time). When another came forward, he killed him (in no time) as well (Hayatus Sahaba).
