In Episode 9, Kenny Burchard jumps into the first of a multi-part discussion about the creation account in Genesis 1 & 2. The primary focus is on the genre (the type of literature) and the context (the time in history and the culture and concerns of the original audience) of the Genesis creation account. Decisions about the genre and context form the presuppositions and the "interpretive lenses" through which present-day readers read the text and expect it to function.
