This is Derek Miller, Speaking on Business. The Janet Quinney Lawson Institute for Land, Water and Air at Utah State University envisions a Utah that values shared natural resources. Through diverse projects, they offer expert insights and guide informed policy for Utah’s future. Executive Director, Brian Steed, joins us with more. Brian Steed: Utah continues to be recognized among the best places to live, work and play. But to ensure that stays true, we need to make strategic policy decisions to protect our land, water and air. Good decisions can only come from good data, and that’s what the institute provides.
