In this episode, I’m sitting down with Dr. Lilit, an esteemed clinical psychologist specializing in maternal mental health, helping working mothers navigate the emotional shifts of postpartum and career transitions. She has been featured in Good Housekeeping, Real Simple, and other top outlets, and has appeared on Everything is the Best.  While I’m not a mom yet and haven’t experienced this myself….I hope to be soon and am conscious about what an intense (yet wonderful) shift entering motherhood can be. I’ve had so many conversations with friends, colleagues and my mom about how challenging it can be to navigate motherhood, the unique pressures that are placed on women, and how your identity starts to shift.  Dr. Lillit and I talk about the messy and beautiful transition into this new role—how it can feel overwhelming, emotional, and like no one really prepares you for it. Dr. Lillit shares her own experiences navigating postpartum, how she supports her clients through the guilt, chaos, and wonders
