Muazh Ibn Jabal رضي الله عنه (S7) Some more of the blessed martyrs of Uhud: Hamza, Musab, Hanza, Sa’ad Ibn Rabee, Kharija Ibn Zayd, Yaman, Thaabit Ibn Waqash, Mukhayriq, Usayrim and of course the living martyr: Talha رضي الله عنهم. Muazh Ibn Jabal رضي الله عنه was often seen trying to make the Jews see the light. The Jews always mentioned that the final Messenger (ﷺ) was coming and that they’d side with him to beat the Ansar, however when our Messenger ﷺ came and was from the Arabs, they rejected him. Muazh رضي الله عنه said to them, why do you now reject him? You told us of his arrival! Surah [2:59] was then revealed. Another time, Muazh رضي الله عنه, Sa’ad Ibn Muazh and kharija Ibn Zayd رضي الله عنهم asked the Jews about information in the Torah, which they concealed. Thus was revealed surah [2:159]. Such was a young and courageous Muazh Ibn Jabal رضي الله عنه.
