Living in our technology driven age, we are constantly prompted to update our devices for optimal results. In Scripture, God's promise of the New Covenant is the "ultimate update" because it is the fulfillment of God"s great covenant promise: "I will be your God, and you will be my people." It is the ultimate update because in the new covenant, through faith in Christ, we are given an updated heart, an updated knowledge, and an updated city.
