Last time we saw how David defeated his enemies – and how he established his new capital city – and how he had lots of sons. But there is more to being a king than this. After all, Saul had defeated his enemies at the beginning of his reign as well! And Saul had several sons. So how will David prove himself better than Saul? Where had Saul failed?
