A long-awaited project that will aim to end devastating floods for residents of Clonlara has finally been unveiled. The €5.2m Springfield Flood Relief Scheme was officially unveiled yesterday by Office of Public Works Minister Kevin Boxer Moran. Clare FM's Daragh Dolan was in attendance and spoke to local resident and long-time campaigner Gerardine Quinlivan, but first Minister Boxer Moran addressed the crowds beneath the torrential South-East Clare Rain.
