Sermon Series: More Than A Season Week 1: "Forgetting the Past" August 30th, 2016 So the UCF team was 0-12 last season. And yes that sucks. Like big time. Like really bad. I mean it can't get any worse. But!!! It's a new season. It's a new year, we have a new coach, we have actually upgraded facilities and administration. So things are looking better. But we need to put ourselves in the shoes of these players. Think about the pressure they have to at least win one game. And think about the pressure the coaches have. Paul may have experienced something similar. He was a murderer of Christians and now he had to minister to them. Guilt could have overtaken him but he persevered, kept moving forward and changed the world. We are going to be looking at how God gives us second chances everyday and how we don't need to allow our past or our old habits define our future.
