Angels of peace take their places—Michael before us, Gabriel behind, Uriel to the right, Raphael to the left—forming a quiet canopy of protection. We imagine being carried on eagles’ wings, held by a strength beyond our own. God becomes a shield, spreading shelter and peace as night descends. In this tender threshold, the bedtime ritual becomes a sanctuary of trust, safety, and renewal—an evening demarcation that readies the heart for rest.
