The curtain came down last Thursday on the life of John Bennetts. John was my very dear friend, my confidante, and my helper in so many ways. But not just for me: he was a friend to so many others who will miss him equally. A quiet, unassuming man but with boundless energy, especially when he was involved in a project that involved The Stage.
