Last time, in our verse-by-verse study of the Book of Romans, we started looking at the first of several things religious people might point to as evidence of their salvation, things that in truth only produce a sense of false security, and contribute nothing whatsoever to a saving relationship with God. First, as we heard, one’s spiritual heritage alone will not save anyone. Let’s join Pastor Brian now as he picks up our study at Romans chapter 2, verse 17, and tells us two other reasons we should all “Beware of False Security.”
