Today I want to talk to you about where godly confidence comes from. Confidence is an attribute of success, it is a critically important quality, and one that God wants you to have. When God comes to Joshua He declares over him in Joshua 1:9 (NIV) "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." God was saying that strength and courage will drive fear and discouragement out of your land! When you received Jesus you received strength and courage, He is your Joshua. Do not throw away your confidence! It will be richly rewarded (Heb 10:35). You serve a confident Jesus that is revealing His confidence in you!
