Fear of people will snare you but trust in God will exalt you. Danger of snares: 1 - They are deceptive 2 - They are placed in paths often traveled 3 - They are designed to snare the prey when it is moving What is the fear of people? It is an imbalanced view of the power of people and the power of God. The root of the word "fear" literally means to tremble. This trembling, terrifying fear can lead us into a trap; to forget that God is sovereign and the people that we fear are not.
