This week we will be discussing a new, free service that Island Drug is now offering to anyone who regularly checks their blood glucose levels. You can now bring in your blood glucose meter and we can provide you with a printed report that shows your blood glucose averages and patterns. This is important to help you keep tighter control of your blood sugar levels and ultimately avoid long term complications. Also, we will be reviewing the goals of therapy for someone living with diabetes and what those long term complications are if the goals aren’t met.
