August is Psoriasis Awareness Month, so we’ll use that as the topic of this week’s podcast. Psoriasis is a disease of the skin. It causes dead skin cells to build up rapidly on the surface of the skin, which in turn forms thick silvery scales and itchy, dry, red patches that are sometimes painful.
