My name is Jeannine.I am the soap lady who owns Wylde Rose Handmade Soaps. I am a mom in a variety of meanings and wordings to 5 amazing children with all different personalities and glorious talents. I am wife to a most wonderful man. I have been making soap for over 16 years now. It is my passion. I am always trying new recipes, or new techniques, not to mention new ingredients. I still get supremely excited cutting open every batch! Like most folks with my descent, I have a supremely pale skin which is quite sensitive and it does not like commercial soap products and lotions. I used to have to buy handmade soap but I got tired of paying $8, or even upwards of $10 for a bar. Soap making is definitely not the cheapest hobby to develop so I started selling soap to support my new obsession. I needed to make just one more batch…. that was 16 years ago.
