In John chapter 9 we see the fascinating story of Jesus opening the eyes of a man who had been blind since his birth. This is a beautiful picture of the Gospel, where God commanded the light to shine out of darkness and gave us, ". . .the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." (2 Corinthians 4:6)
