Expectations are everything. As a father I have learned how important it is to set my children’s expectations well in advance before engaging in a day out together. It is the difference between joy and disaster. The same is true when we decide to set sail as Paul and Barney did on their first mission’s excursion. We need to step back for a second and recalibrate our expectations according to what Christ has told us. Trust me, it will be the difference between determination and discouragement.
