“In the beginning. . .” can be a loaded phrase—one that forces us into debate and doubt. Many outside the church would lead us to believe that a scientific worldview is in direct opposition to religious belief. Many in the church feel this way too. Are religious faith and a scientific worldview mutually exclusive? Must you put your brain away to follow Jesus?
