In this Episode we chat with Alan about why its important to think deeply about the person of Jesus. We also touch on worship, how pastoral ministry and theology interrelate and generally have a fun time. Alan is the lead elder at York City Church. He and his wife Susanna moved to York from Brighton in 2008 when Alan joined the staff at City Church. Alan’s shady past involves five years as lead guitarist in the popular Christian band, Phatfish. He now leads the team of elders that lead City Church and is passionate about guitars, golf, Yorkshire ale and curry (probably in that order). He is currently studying for an MA in Theology at Durham University and is passionate about Thomas Aquinas.
