Sermon Notes • Preacher: Jeremiah Fyffe • **1. CLARIFIES CAUTIONS COMPELS** James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it. Romans 7:6 But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code. Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. Romans 8:3–4 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
