Redeeming The Time

How are we going to read the Gospels, since they are so hard to understand? They are not always hard. Even in complicated parts, we can understand that are useful to our souls if we read with expectation and desire. An example of something simple is in the Parable of the Rich man and Lazarus, one of the most complex parables in all of the Gospel. We will look at the behavior of the rich man and WHY he was in torments, and the reply of Abraham to the (unnamed) rich man: "Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented."
