A few notes from part 1 and part 2: Luke 11 1 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. He sets the example. They’ve seen him, they see it’s important because it’s such a big part of his life. So they ask... When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” We don’t know what John taught his disciples but we now know he taught them to pray. Perhaps the next prayer is some of what John would have taught his disciples, asking God’s kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven. That would be right up John’s street. The messiah is coming!
