In cricket the spirit in which the game should be played is highly valued. This week we hear how one cricketer playing for Dorset in the English Minor Counties League upset the authorities at Lords when he was accused of breaking the spirit of the game, despite keeping within the laws of the game. That player is Andrew Wingfield Digby and he went on to become respected church leader in England.
