Acts 7: 17-38; Exodus 2:1-3:15 1. For the earliest months or years of Moses’ life, Moses was nursed by his own mother. What might she have prayed or sung or spoken over her child during those frequent and intimate encounters? 2. Moses grew up as a Hebrew in the court of the Egyptians. He was both an outsider to the Egyptians and an outsider to the Hebrews. How might this unique upbringing have molded Moses’ sense of self? 3. Read Acts 7:23-29.
