How to Rise Above Hardships Genesis 37-41 1) Today Steve emphasized that we can rise above hardships because God is with us. How do you remain aware that God is with you in hard times? What are your strategies for coping? 2) Joseph ultimately married and had sons. He named one of them Manasseh which means ‘causes to forget.’ (Genesis 41:51). Joseph rejoices that God has caused him to forget his troubles. Is it really possible to forget our troubles after we’ve gone through difficult times?
