MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD – GENESIS 1 – Pastor Steve Ruetschle 1. Consider God’s creation, what do you marvel at? 2. This morning Pastor Steve began his sermon talking about receiving his father’s blessing and how important that was to him. Have you received a blessing from someone important to you? Share that experience with the group and what it meant to you. 3. The poetic pattern of Genesis 1 is “Let there be” or “Let the” (God then creates and says) “It is (was) good.” In the 8th repetition of this pattern it changes to “Let US make mankind our image…” Why do you think the pattern changes? 4.
