In this sermon Steve asks, “What is the meaning of Jesus’ death?” Please share a time in your life when this question really hit home with you. What were the circumstances? 2. The above passages emphasize servanthood. Can you think of person who has been an exemplary servant to you? How would you describe that person? How did they serve you? 3. Steve quoted Tim Keller’s statement that, “All life-changing love is substitionary sacrifice.” If you can give specific examples of life-changing love as sacrifice please do! 4. What struck you about the story of Count Von Zizendorf? 5. In the inscription on Domenica Feti’s painting, Ecce Homo, Jesus asks us this question, “This I have done for you.
